Suggested changes to lyrics for WP song

Nice work. Some suggestions (unless otherwise stated, "ETA" means the English lyrics of the Turkish National Anthem as given at that article):

• Line 1, "donation banner" instead of "puzzle ball", goes more closely to "crimson banner" in the ETA.
• Line 2, "article", -> "flame war".
• Line 9, take from ETA "You [not I] have been WP:FREE since the beginning and forever shall be so" (or WP:DONATE)
• Line 11, "everyday" (humdrum, unexceptional) -> "every day"
• Line 12, "I'll tear apart mountains, exceed the expanses and still gush out"!
• Line 19, pipe "soon will come" to WP:NOTFINISHED
• Line 21, "and think about the nameless editors"... ("shroudless" in ETA, though I suppose this is an antonym)
• Line 26, cut "it" from "request it"
• Line 27 & elsewhere, "Janitors" -> "WP:GNOMEs perhaps, though it doesn't scan so well

Also, WP:GNOME doesnt go so well, as I am looking for some metaphorical references, I am happy with the first person pronouns wherever they exist. @SimonTrew: I have now revised it a little and added the missing stanza, it only needs a little more befor it becomes finalized. OK, they were only suggestions! I have my work cut out with translating Draft:Lumières (from fr:Lumières) and I think it will take me another day or so before I can offer more bad suggestions... perhaps it's just me but I always find it easier to reject a concrete suggestion instead of an abstract one, and being an engineer I neither mind criticising something constructively nor taking criticism myself. (A lot of WPians seem to take any criticism rather too personally, in my opinion.) Si Trew (talk) 02:59, 30 October 2015 (UTC)
