Userboxes

I'm guessing by your message on my user page that you are interested in userboxes or infoboxes? Cause userboxes are kinda like this:

This user is of Mexican ancestry.

Where as infoboxes are boxes that give general information about an article, kind of like the one on this article: Municipality of Cañitas de Felipe Pescador

Glad you like it! While my userpage does jump out a bit more than other pages, it's mostly just a basic design (like what anyone starts with) and relies on a bunch of boxes, called userboxen. I actually moved all my ubxn to a subpage, which is like a userpage, but you can have it be aimed at specific things. Some have what they call a "sandbox", or "desk" where they work on things before they add them to wikipedia.

But back to my userpage, first you'll want the wikipedia newsletter, called the "signpost". Next, add a {{Vandalism information}} template to your page. This gives you updates on the vandalism situation. those are basically the coolest things on my userpage, aside from the adoption box (which you can get through the adoption program), and the editor review sticker, which you can get if you go up for editor review. I don't think you should though, you should be around for a while. I waited over 11 months before my first. Also, as you go along, take a look at other userpages for some ideas. Suggestion for discussion

The three contributions that students need to do next partial (~October) is to significantly edit an article, create a stub and translate an article from English Wikipedia for Spanish Wikipedia. Toluca Article

Hi, this is what we are going to modify within the Toluca Article

During this partial we are going to “modify” the Toluca article. Our team has to modify the “Geographical Information”. This part will have a sub-heading with Geographical Features. In this part we have three main corrections. Toluca has three main Geographical Features which are:

The Lerma River is one of the most important rivers of Mexico. This river comes from the “Almoloya del Río” Lake. It goes from the center of the country to the west. Along its path it flows into the Chapala Lake. From this moment on the river takes the name of Santiago River. And it goes from this lake to the Pacific Ocean in the State of Nayarit. This river is about 1180 km long. And 60% of it is known as Lerma River, and 40% as Santiago River.

Nevado de Toluca National Park was declared as a National Park on January 1936. It is about 4600msnm. Its original name was “Chignahualtecatl” which means “Nine Mountains”. But now it has a new name: “Xinantecatl” that means “Naked Man”. This park has forest, specially of pines and obeto trees. The main animals living there are camp rats, teporingos, squirrels, tlacuaches, lizards, snakes and eagles.

In the low part of this mountain there are pic-nic tables and BBQ pans. In the higher part of the Volvano (inside) there are two lagoons in which you can practice scuba-diving and fishing. It is important to mention that this volcano is the only one in Mexico to which you can enter the crater by car.

Sierra Morelos Park is about 3km away from the center of Toluca city. This is a reforested area. This park has a little artificial lake. And it also has a little pic-nic area and playground. Arezvik 18:37, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
