Eddie's comments edit

  • Thanks @Eddie891. Some of these source problems are ones which I can fix, mostly by using other sources. I don't know about others though. I know some books have an ISBN and others do not. Is it okay to be consistent with just not including the ISBN in any of the books?

Several times you wrote this: Source 69:Missing identifier (ISSN, JSTOR, etc.) What does this mean? I am totally ignorant about this.

On source three, it is a website. So, how do I need to fix this with publisher, year, and date? What is the right citation? I just don't know.

I read about the lead cite that you pointed me to. I could possibly re-write and revise much to fix the problem. I do include the citations in it to address past contentious editing, trying to anticipate objections so avoid an editing war. Look at the article talk page, and you'll see what I mean. One editor, probably fits the definition of wp:spa who also left a rude comment on my talk page, gets reverted a lot. But his edits also make me careful by making sure the material is certain. I will probably have more questions for you.

Thanks for looking at the article and your ideas. I am grateful for your help.Pcvjamaica (talk) 22:41, 11 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Pcvjamaica: an ISSN is similar to an ISBN. I wouldn't worry about those if you don't feel like going through the large amount of work. ISBN's are locatable by using this tool. As far as lead cite goes, its really your choice. Eddie891 Talk Work 22:46, 11 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
