good book about 5000 top common words in american english

look for in the internet the nice book:

this book gives top 5000 words tn american english, each of these words ia given with a collection of about 30 words which are "used together" that words. the hard copy book is available in amazone (at least). 2A02:ED3:658:1F00:6511:8C43:E23:2805 (talk) 09:34, 28 February 2023 (UTC)

Duplicates

This is a great list but be aware that there are duplicates.

For example 'before' and 'close' appears 3 times. Out of 1100 words there are 992 unique words on the list.

There are 100 words duplicated 2 or more times. For my needs, I copied the list and removed the duplicates. It is still an awesome list. Many other lists had names included. Scanning this list I don't see names. 108.54.243.51 (talk) 17:58, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
