A tag for material licensed under Australian governments' Open Data PolicyEdit
Is there a forum – or is this it? – in which I can discuss creating a tag for material released under the Open Data Policy of the Australian federal and state governments?
Under this fairly recent policy, Australian governments have committed to a default position of licensing their data under a CC BY licence.
What I have in mind is something like this:
Attribution: Australian Government
The Australian Government owns copyright in this work. Under the Open Data Policy agreed by the federal, state and territory governments of Australia, the work is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.
- This template should only be used on file pages.
I would also like to include in the discussion the need to review and amend some aspects of applicable PD templates based on outdated sources.
Copyright for School PhotosEdit
I have access to old school photos of the person who is the topic of my article. I am having copyright issues with uploading these images as they are being flagged. How do a properly reference these files? The person who is the topic of the article is the owner of the photos as they purchased them at the time. I do not have information about who the photographer was. ˜˜˜˜ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Warsopcurationproject (talk • contribs) 07:06, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
