Grading

Quality articles contain well-written prose and comply with Wikipedia's manual of style (don't let this long page intimidate you!--it is only included for reference, if needed). They contain verifiable information, references using inline citations, and cover the main aspects of the subject. Articles should be illustrated, if possible, by images.

Looking at similar articles might be helpful (you can even click on the "edit" links to view the wiki markup). Generally, articles contain a summary at the top, known as a "lead" section. They also contain background information, historical context, descriptions of the subject and its significance. Some examples of quality law articles: Black Act, Hawaii House Bill 444, Limitation Act 1963, Trustee Investments Act 1961, Yasui v. United States. Each of these articles are different, but they have a somewhat similar structure overall. Wiki markup and formatting can be a challenge to learn, so don't hesitate to ask for assistance or to click "edit" links for similar articles to see how content was generated.
