April 18

With the help of the Wikipedia Tutorial http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Tutorial experiment in your sandbox (when you are signed in, go to "My Sandbox" in upper right corner). By 11:00 p.m., make sure that you have added the following into your sandbox: - One regular sentence - One heading - A link to another Wikipedia page (any page) - Words in bold, italics, and underlined - One reference (you can use a book or article we're reading in class)

April 25

By 11:00 p.m. on 4/25 send me 1. the link to the Wikipedia page that you will edit or 2. a description of a new Wikipedia entry you plan to write. If you are editing an existing entry explain what you think needs to be added, and why the entry is weak as it stands. How will you improve it? If you are composing a new entry explain why it is necessary and why it is better as a separate entry than as an addition to an existing page.

May 9

By 11:00 p.m. on 5/9 make final you edits to an existing Wikipedia page or put up a new entry. In either case these must be at least 8 sentences long. More is better.
