- Slightly before 9:30 - coffee and tea!
- 9:35-10 - intro to Wikipedia and basic editing process for Wikipedia
- 10-11 - You are in Wikipedia! In this hour you will add at least one sentence to one Wikipedia article.
- 11-11:15 check in, regroup, demo based on participant request
- 11:15-12:30 - Continued Wikipedia editing along with more demos on demand.
- 1pm - End!
Participants who join this meetup will be able to do the following by the end of the program-
- Engage in an informed conversation with anyone about the impact of Wikipedia and the way in which it is created
- Add information to Wikipedia at any time in the future, if they choose
- Consider options for introducing Wikipedia programming in outreach events
