Wikipedia Takes Columbus: Photography Event; April 9 - April 19; Facebook Event Page

Our Wikipedia Takes Columbus photography event has been extended through tonight! Upload any photographs you've taken in and around Columbus to the Wikimedia Commons by midnight to be included in our annual event. Instructions on uploading photos for the event can be found here; we will also be spending time at tonight's workshop uploading photos and providing assistance.
- Check out this page for a list of photos uploaded so far.
- Prize reminder: We'll be giving a Wikipedia language water bottle + notebook to the following two people:
  - Whoever takes the photos of the most unillustrated Ohio State campus buildings (refer to Draft:List of buildings at Ohio State University).
  - Whoever illustrates the most Wikipedia articles with their uploaded images.
We're participating in The 50,000 Challenge! The aim is to make 50,000 article improvements and creations for the United States, and we're only ~2.55% done. Be sure to sign up if you're interested.

Wikiquote is one of Wikipedia's sister projects, and serves as a free online compendium of sourced quotations from notable people and creative works.
