Wikipdia Weekly was started in October 2006 as an independent program of community matters and all things "Wikipedia and Wikimedia." It features coverage of wiki-related news, roundtable discussions and special interviews. Typically a podcast episode is recorded using Skype across at least three different continents.
=== What we are ===
A podcast is an audio-based show (think radio program), distributed via the Internet, that you can listen to on any device that handles MP3 or Ogg Vorbis files. You do not need an Apple iPod, or even a portable music player. You can listen to episodes right inside your web browser off of www.wikipediaweekly.com. To listen to podcasts regularly, most people find using Apple's iTunes program the easiest way to do this. (It's a free download for Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh).
