The footnotes from your citations will show up at the bottom of the page by default, but it's best to control their location — in case there is another section like "External links" after the "References" section — by using a template call "Reflist".
To add the Reflist template:
- Position the cursor on a new line beneath the "References" header.
- Click Insert and then Template.
- Type "Reflist", then click Add template, then Insert. (You don't need to enter any of the optional additional information.)
