The City as Text will fulfill the requirements of the New Orleans Experience by engaging students in research about unique historical & cultural locations in the city. Over the course the semester, students will work in groups to identify, research, write about, and teach about a specific point of interest. This work will culminate with an article that will be posted to New Orleans Historical, "a web and mobile platform for sharing stories & scholarship about New Orleans and the surrounding area," as well as substantial revisions to an article on Wikipedia.
