This course builds and develops small group competence through the identification and application of communication skills that allow people to work effectively in small groups and teams. Students will gain a working understanding of small group communication theories, models and strategies, for use in diverse settings (personal, social, academic, professional). Students participate in decision making, problem solving, and discussion groups. Students will learn to develop skills with which to improve the efficiency, productivity, and “enjoy-ability” of their small group experiences.
