This course, the third and final in a sequence of interior design history and theory course, explores the intersection of social and cultural conditions and interior design from the middle of the nineteenth century to the present, including analysis of interior architecture, planning, lighting, and furniture. Students are asked to revise or create articles about interior designers or interior spaces of historical importance to help develop knowledge about the discipline.
