Join our social mixer for community curation of shared information! Charlottesville Tomorrow is hosting "Cvillepedia Re-Launch", an event to introduce new developments in the Charlottesville- based wiki, Cvillepedia! Here are reasons to gather and collaborate!
- Charlottesville Tomorrow, a local news publisher, is convening their community of readers and contributors to engage with new information collections!
- The University of Virginia Library is introducing its new Charlottesville Equity Atlas project to invite community participation in curating data to promote social equity!
- The Data Science Institute is presenting Wikimedia programs which align with Cvillepedia's wiki publishing!
- We have a holiday - Public Domain Day!
- We have another holiday - Wikipedia's birthday!
What all these topics have in common is community engagement in information sharing, promotion of public access to information, and collaboration among various groups in the Charlottesville community. Let's see how we can collaborate!
