One GA for every county in a state competition edit

There is a current contest to bring one article from each county in a state to GA class from C class or lower. Articles cannot be used for more than one country, and county routes or lower cannot be used. Only CA, MD, OK, PA, WA, UT, NJ, and MI have been claimed so far. Leave a message for User:Mitchazenia for more information. --Rschen7754 (T C) 03:30, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So, what I'm getting here is that there is a challenge to get a state route in every county of every state to GA status? Why are only the states listed "claimed," and who have they been claimed by? CL — 02:00, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks for the link. CL — 02:20, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
One more question: can we use existing GA articles for the challenge or can it only be new ones? CL — 02:22, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If you got the GA for your work yes, if not, no. You can use a Stub, Start, or C class article, but if it is B or higher it must be because of your own work. And sadly you can't do UT, as that is the state I am working on. --Admrboltz (talk) 02:26, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not the person who came up with the rules, but I don't see why it wouldn't be possible for two people to do the same state, as long as they don't pick any of the same roads. - Algorerhythms (talk) 02:28, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Idaho works. Lots of counties. It is up for grabs! ~~ This page was edited by ĈĠ 00:51, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New Hampshire looks good for someone lazy. --NE2 00:55, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I still see nobody's got the guts to pick Texas (254 counties)... —Scott5114 [EXACT CHANGE ONLY] 02:28, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
1/254 = 0.3% --Admrboltz (talk) 02:35, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On a lighter note edit

The south end of I-225 at I-25 overlaps a flying junction of two TheRide light rail lines: [1] --NE2 18:02, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Leaderboard for 27 October edit

Yet again, there's no change in leaderboard positions; however, all states with the exception of Connecticut have moved down in points, with Utah losing six thousanths of a point, Michigan twenty-three hundreths, New York six thousanths and Arizona one tenth. Now, here's the condensed leaderboard (if you want the full version of the board just head on over to WP:USRD/A/S):

State Ω
Utah 3.724
Michigan 3.765
New York 4.015
Arizona 4.240
Connecticut 4.364
