EricEnfermero edit

  Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week, for your work in creating new articles, improving old ones, and fixing minor mistakes you come across in your daily editing. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:AutomaticStrikeout submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

I'm nominating EricEnfermero (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). Eric's account is just over one year old and he has reached an edit count of over 4,700. He contributes to the encyclopedia in a variety of ways. Eric has fought vandalism using STiki and has also assisted me in working on umpire-related articles, Joe West (umpire) in particular (without his help, that article would likely not be a GA right now). He also works with persondata and fixing spelling errors.

I would like to nominate Coal town guy (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). Since starting a few months ago, he has created over 2000 articles on small, and ghost, towns all across the country; from Slickpoo, Idaho to Spaghetti Junction, Kentucky. These help fill out the gazetteer function of the encyclopedia and give people a place to start if they want to expand on them. Gtwfan52 (talk) 09:06, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Diiscool edit

  Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week, for facilitating neutrality on potentially controversial articles. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:Buster7 submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week: Diiscool (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). One look at his user page shows an editor hard at work creating the quality encyclopedia that our readers expect. Almost 4500 edits with 78% in article space. He showed up at Timeline of the Presidency of Barack Obama (2009) in early 2010 (we have worked in tandem since then) and has been a very active participant in monitoring and editing all 4 subsequent Timeline articles. With his guidance and demeanor, the Timeline articles have remained stress and trouble free...not an easy task for any editor working/involved in political articles. He does not involve himself in Drama. ```Buster Seven Talk

Benzband edit

  Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week, for reviving Wiki-Project Punk. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:Buster7 submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

Benzband (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) A self-styled gnome and userbox creator, Benzband joined WP in August of 2011 and has devoted 35% of his work at article pages. New users are the lifeblood of Wikipedia. Until benzband joined the community in late 2011, Project punk was almost dead. He injected much needed life into the project creating a Renaissance of sorts.. Never underestimate what a new user can do. Nominated by Buster7 based on comments by --Guerillero

Always Learning edit

  Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week, for multilingual cooperation as well as vandalism fighting. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:GiantSnowman submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

I nominate Always Learning (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) as Editor of the Week - by no means 100% perfect, he is certainly the type of editor that Wikipedia could do with many more of. He strives to expand and improve articles as much as possible, and he fights vandalism on a daily basis. His knowledge of English, Portuguese, Spanish and French means he is able to drawn on a wide variety of sources, as well as communicate with editors who only speak those languages, and would perhaps otherwise remain secluded and dismissed for their inability to communicate. He will always try to work in conjunction with other editors to improve an article, and I cannot recommend him highly enough for this honour. GiantSnowman 10:28, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Bleaney edit

  Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week, for creation of over 1200 articles, mostly related to Oregon. Thank you for the great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:Horologium submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

Bleaney (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) has been quietly fixing all sorts of articles relating to schools; he has de-orphaned articles, added wikilinks where appropriate, created redirects, added categories, and created an array of useful templates. And that's just one of the several areas in which he is active; he's also been busy creating and expanding articles in Bedfordshire, creating articles on historic buildings worldwide, and started almost 60 articles on British prisons. He has amassed over 45,000 edits, and outside of a couple of barnstars in 2010 and 2011, doesn't seem to be getting much in the way of recognition for all of his work. Deb (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) is an old-school veteran. She began her WP career in May of 2002 and has amassed over 95000 edits with an remarkable 89% in article space. In all that time she has received very little acknowledgement (a Wales Barnstar back in April of 2011) but not much else. She has been very buzy, tirelessly working behind the scenes to improve and enlarge the encyclopedia. A very agreeable editor, she is a pleasure to collaborate with. Her 10 year block record speaks to someone that stays out of harms way. She has quietly created over 100 articles in namespace and is the type of editor this Award was designed for.
