This is a list of athletes without an article who featured within the top-20 rankings of a World Championship athletics event in 2010.
The act of featuring the top 20 does not in itself make an athlete automatically notable, but it often indicates that the athlete performs at a notable level of the sport – many will have competed internationally. Significant exceptions include US college athletes, the lesser East African athletes, and one-off performances.
- Note: Athletes in bold featured in the top ten of their discipline
- At creation on January 2011 there were 86 missing top-20 men and 69 missing top-20 women (including 24 top-10 men and 15 top-ten women)
