A template should be used to link between the articles listed within it, which is not the case here, and it would be impractical to do so in any case (there would be too many templates on each team's page). Furthermore, a template is not the place to store results of sporting competitions: the article European Cup 1955–56 contains this information. Jameboy (talk) 21:36, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - This is truly too much. As things stand, this template will only be used on one article, which makes it redundant. – PeeJay 22:40, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. Navigation templates exist to facilitate navigation between articles, not to format information within a single article. –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 02:33, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Two albums and two EPs which were deleted as non-notable. Template is now used on only three articles with no hope of being used on more. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many ottersOne batOne hammer) 15:58, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Metro Manila A (H1N1 Map) (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)

Used only on one article, and has a "timestamp" as part of its name, which is no longer descriptive, since the map it contains no longer describes what the template claims to portary (8 June; it actually portrays 12 June right now). Other articles have similar maps placed directly in the article. There is no update issues that are time sensitive, since none of the text is time sensitive except for the filename, and that doesn't matter because the file itself does not portray the events of that date, rather of 12 June instead, since it's been "updated". 70.29.212.226 (talk) 11:34, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. Perhaps proposer may read Wikipedia:TFD#Reasons_to_delete_a_template first. Template used for only one page doesn't mean that it is subjected for deletion.
The only thing this template does is to present a single image and a legend key. This can be done directly with the [[Image:xxx|thumb|size|legend]] wikicode tag placed directly into the article. Many such templates have been deleted before at TfD with a subst and delete verdict. Contributions/70.29.212.226 (talk) 12:27, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. I will rename it for the sake of no longer nominating for deletion.--The Wandering TravelerWIKIPROJECT UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT! 07:56, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This was done via a cut and paste move. I have requested a DB-histmerge to correct the error. However, it's still the same template, just renamed, so part of the rationale for deletion still applies. Contributions/70.29.212.226 (talk) 12:32, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment this was renamed to {{Metro Manila A (H1N1 Map)}} after a cut-and-paste-move and subsequent hist-merge. 70.29.212.226 (talk) 07:07, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Note this is now completely unused, someone, not myself, has replaced the template with a direct embedding of the image. 70.29.212.226 (talk) 04:24, 18 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per nom. There is no reason that the image has to be transcluded into the article rather than directly embedded into it. –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 02:38, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Used only on one article, other articles have this placed directly into the article. There are no time sensitive issues that require frequent updating in this template either. 70.29.212.226 (talk) 11:34, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom; same rationale as above. There is no reason that the image has to be transcluded into the article rather than directly embedded into it. Also, "used for only one page" is routinely a reason for deleting templates at TfD. –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 02:41, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
