Here Biden is recorded as using "Madame Vice President". But the Office of the Chief of Protocol of the US Department of State prefers a different spelling: "The salutation for an in-person greeting is: Mr./Madam President."[2]  --Lambiam 10:26, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
