- If you want to see the earlier content of a now broken link whose content was a presumably static record, rather than have a working new link, you may have the luck that the page has been archived by the Wayback Machine. Prepend
https://web.archive.org/*/to the broken url – in this case resulting inhttps://web.archive.org/web/*/https://legacy.lib.utexas.edu/taro/ricewrc/00333/00333-P.html– and try that. Indeed, the page has been archived, the earliest snapshot being of 16 May 2021, located athttps://web.archive.org/web/20210516074151/https://legacy.lib.utexas.edu/taro/ricewrc/00333/00333-P.html. The other broken link appears to have been about the Chandler Davidson Texas Politics research collection kept at the Woodson Research Center of Rice University. - By searching Google for
