Question about Steve Irwin

His widow and children now make Crikey! It's the Irwins. Never seen it, but it's the same family. Same zoo. Probably an equally high level of knowledge between them. HiLo48 (talk) 05:19, 6 July 2020 (UTC)

I'm sure there was at least one, possibly two other presenters with a similar "here is an incredibly dangerous animal, I'm going to chase it up a tree/down a hole and grab hold of it with no apparent regard for my own safety" shtick, but I can't remember their names (I think one may have been South African). In the UK, Steve Backshall is famous for handling dangerous animals including crocodiles in his Deadly 60 BBC children's TV programmes. In 2010, he was bitten by a caiman filming one episode in Argentina. Alansplodge (talk) 16:47, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
