Laylow edit
Laylow is a redirect since 2007 to the Ladbroke Grove section of the Notting Hill article, apparently because the word is a street term for the Ladbroke Grove district (according to the page's creator [1]). But I can find no reliable source for this usage, only references to a restaurant in the area by that name. Can the redirect be deleted? ---Viennese Waltz 09:07, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- None of the 6 references quoted in 2007 by user Skam1ism (who is inactive since) appear reliable. There is a restaurant Laylow at 10 Golborne Road, W10 5PE London, and some trace of a pirate FM radio Laylow 106.8 MHz. With no better source(s), the redirect of Laylow can be challenged at Talk:Notting Hill and subsequently deleted. DroneB (talk) 14:00, 7 October 2019 (UTC)

Statue in Borås edit
In Borås, Sweden, near the city centre, there is a statue of a man partly submerged in water. Only the head and upper torso are visible above water. Who is it a statue of? JIP | Talk 11:29, 7 October 2019 (UTC)

- It looks like most of this sculptor's works are in water, though not sure why. See for example his sculpture in sv:Barkarbystaden, one of the few listed on his page that is not in a natural body of water, but is sitting in water anyway. Maybe he just really likes watery reflections. Someguy1221 (talk) 21:20, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
- If most of his work is in water than I guess probably not. But in general, it's also possible "why the water" is the wrong question. Maybe there was a body of water and whoever was in charge of it decided they wanted an artwork inside it and put out some sort of expression of interest. Nil Einne (talk) 08:10, 8 October 2019 (UTC)
