editYoutube money.
editSuppose someone uploaded video, which became overnight success and trending all over the world. Now uploader will get money for uploading popular video. So How does youtube community approach youtuber to pay money for the first time? Rizosome (talk) 04:09, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Rizosome: The uploader doesn't get money for uploading a popular video. To earn money, the creator needs to be in the partner program which has requirements such as sub count, total views, etc. The reason why there are ads on popular videos is that Youtube puts ads onto the viral videos and keeps the money. ―sportzpikachu my talkcontribs 08:03, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
- Note that Youtube only started to monetise non partner videos about 6 weeks ago [1]. Nil Einne (talk) 15:10, 1 January 2021 (UTC)
