    • Round trip fare is $18
    • if you want a $7.00 guided 12:30-1:50 p.m. tour of the immigration museum, make reservations (see below)

    • In case of rain: the tentative fall-back plan is 2pm to 4ish at the XYZ mezzanine lounge at the W Hotel a block from the Foundation office (directions)
      • Weather forecast
        • Weather appears to be "mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 50s. Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph." The evening has a chance of rain. As always, a ferry trip across the bay means bundle up against the penetrating cold wind.
  • Bikes optional, and bike space on the ferry is first-come, first-served
    • Bikes and segways are available for rental on the island, but the island is 1.2 square miles (3.1 km2)
  • Remember to bring sunscreen
  • Need volleyball or inflatable beach ball -- please remove this if you can bring one

  • Binksternet – I have been wanting to see the new museum about immigration. Perfect opportunity!
    • Mrs. Binksternet is coming, too, ready for hiking. We are not bringing bikes or bbq stuff—we'll carry our lunches. We are interested in the 12:30 tour. See you there! Binksternet (talk) 21:51, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • MBrad (talk) 20:46, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
