Wiki-salon: Join Wikimedians at their regular monthly meetup focusing on contributing material to Wikipedia, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Commons. Bring a laptop and learn how to upload and categorise photos, collaborate on transcribing historical documents, or get hands-on practice scanning archival material. From 10AM to 3PM. Important about this meetup is the presence of Andy Mabbett ([1]) - on this the second WikiData Tour Down Under.
This is an excellent opportunity to meet and discuss WikiData issues and meet Andy in person!
In the week preceding this meetup, WMAU will have a stall at the Australian Society of Archivists conference [2] on Wednesday & Thursday (at Crown Perth), and then two workshops on Friday (at Flux, in St Georges Tce).
