editAbout the Event
editThe hands-on session will cover how to use Wikipedia and Wikidata to contribute to the open-knowledge movement. The first part of the session is designed to learn how to use OAbot to add an open access publication link to Wikipedia citations. The second part focuses on Wikidata to create entries about women/organizations in STEM and their archival fonds from Canadian Archive of Women in STEM. Bring your own laptop or tablet. Light refreshments will be served.
