Every episode article (except one) from this season is of GA status or higher. The Joy of Sect and Lisa the Skeptic are both FAs, The Simpsons (season 9) is an FL and every other page is a GA, with the exception of The Principal and the Pauper, which is currently a GAC. -- Scorpion0422 23:33, 26 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Conditional support, providing "City..." gets FA and "The Principle and the Pauper" gets GA. Will (talk) 20:00, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • My weak mathematical skills are telling me you don't have enough FAs at the moment. Dihydrogen Monoxide (party) 06:11, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • The Simpsons (season 8) passed with 1 FL and 2 FAs, the exact same number as this one currently has. -- Scorpion0422 15:08, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • In the long run, there will (hopefully) be a couple other FAs in addition to the ongoing WP:FAC for The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson - including The Last Temptation of Krust, and The Principal and the Pauper. Granted that shouldn't be taken under consideration for this discussion, but I just thought it should be noted, that whether or not this topic passes, most likely in a few months in addition to the WP:FL, there will be a total of (5) WP:FAs. Cirt (talk) 06:15, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • It's at the low end of FAs, but for such a large topic 4 FAs and the rest GAs is fairly impressive. As per precedent, this should be acceptable. --Arctic Gnome (talkcontribs) 16:55, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
      • OK, I'm happy with that (I don't know much about precedent here). It would be nice to have more FAs, as per Cirt. Support. Dihydrogen Monoxide (party) 08:48, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • conditional support all current FAC/GACs would have to be successful. David Fuchs (talk) 15:01, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • OpposeAbstaining A topic should not be nominated until it passes all of the required Good article and Featured Article processes. Zginder (talk) (Contrib) 02:42, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The Simpsons (season 8) passed when there was still a GAC, I believe. xihix(talk) 00:05, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
For more info on the Season 8 discussion, see Wikipedia:Featured topic candidates/The Simpsons (season 8). Cirt (talk) 18:50, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
For the record Season 8 only passed after all the articles were GA or higher. Zginder (talk) (Contrib) 19:30, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And they all are for Season 9, save for The Principal and the Pauper, which is currently at WP:GAC and will (hopefully) be reviewed and listed as a GA soon. Cirt (talk) 19:35, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Could they have waited? Sure, but they're here now and "The Principal and the Pauper" will probably be promoted to GA. –thedemonhog talkedits 02:48, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
To set the record straight, My Sister, My Sitter wasn't even a GAC when we nominated season 8, but it was promoted after a couple of weeks. -- Scorpion0422 03:08, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I am changing my vote to abstain, as I have no reason to oppose anymore, but dislike the conflict of interest, and similar things, I think might have been used. Zginder (talk) (Contrib) 18:14, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Just to clarify, I do not feel comfortable voting support for this, but I have no complaints to oppose. I do not have any accusation against anyone. Zginder (talk) (Contrib) 01:09, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
