Original – Nymphaea odorata flower

Reason: Well detailed image of the flower, making it easily identifiable, with good technical quality, and does not suffer from under or overexposure. It offers some scientific detail as well, with clear view to the reproductive organs, three of the four bracts, the top side and underside of the lily pads, developing lily pads, and venation on the underside of the lily pad is visible. A few stems of the lily pads are visible as well.

Comment - Sca, not entirely sure what's wrong with the DOF, but there was only cropping on the top left and left sides. The flower was about 4 inches across, so I just got as close as possible.SanctuaryX (talk) 15:15, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
