Original - Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island, a 16th Century fortification made into a family home by Sir Edwin Lutyens in 1901.

Reason: This is a self-nomination, so it's a bit difficult to assess fairly, but I think it's high-resolution and shows the castle in its location quite well; the low angle shows the height of the mount and the shore of the island. The weather was ideal, and I was quite lucky in managing to take it without lots of tourists!
