Original – Trains crossing the Luogelkin viaduct along the Rhone valley on the Lötschberg railway line. This 74 kilometres (46 mi) long line crossing the Swiss Alps is part of a major European rail axis connecting Germany, northern France, Benelux and Italy.
Reason
Compelling image of a central section of the railway line, well depicting the characteristic relief and landscape, and with a high level of detail.
