Original – Hurricane Wilma on October 21, 2005, as a strong Category 4 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Wind Scale. The system brought hurricane-force and major hurricane-force winds to parts of the island of Cozumel.

Reason: I believe that this image meets the featured picture criteria and should be listed as such because this image depicts the strongest Atlantic hurricane in recorded history impacting the Yucatan, which it did before making landfall in the U.S. state of Florida as a Category 3 hurricane, the most recent storm to do so.
