Original – George Grossmith as Reginald Bunthorne in Gilbert and Sullivan's Patience

Reason: It does a really good job at showing the exaggerated, "æsthetic" poses used in the original show. I did have to fill in some cut-off corners, but there's no encyclopedic content in them, just the photographer's backdrop. I kind of like the attempt to disguise the back brace that let him hold the pose long enough to get the shot with straw. (look between his feet). Original run of the opera. A little grainy, but not excessively given it was a relatively small photo.
