  • Support. Nice, good detail and separation of the background. I would personally have cropped the bottom slightly, but a minor issue. Diliff | (Talk) (Contribs) 14:37, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support. Excellent. Photographed at the perfect point in the flowering cycle.--ragesoss (talk) 17:49, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support Good DOF, sharpness and bokeh. Amazing! Second minor cropping suggestion --Muhammad(talk) 20:36, 9 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: As far as I know, the most well-known Echeveria is the "hens and chicks" plant that you displaced as the main image. Can you explain your reasoning? Maedin\talk 06:55, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • As a rough estimate, there is a collection of about 100-150 succulents in my garden. Most of the Echeverias are similar as far as appearances are concerned in my view. I swapped the Echeveria elegans back to the taxobox, given it is probably more representative of the plant as a whole. A large number of cultivars and species could represent the genus well though in my opinion. Noodle snacks (talk) 09:15, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
      • Thank you for doing that, I did think it was more appropriate in the lead (even though it's a poor photograph). By the way—I hate you! Your garden sounds magnificent! Maedin\talk 13:21, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose great image but its current placement in the article doesn't seem to make it much more than decorative to me. Guest9999 (talk) 01:37, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • No other images in the article show any flowers, or how the plant reproduces. Noodle snacks (talk) 01:50, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
