What idea(s) do you have for what the new structure for the U.S. and Canada Wikipedia Education Programs could look like?
  • Flexibility at the school level that allows for adaptability to their culture of learning and teaching
  • Align with school's Center for Teaching and Learning that will be vital for faculty recruitment and development into the curriculum
  • Further development of the regional structure of support for the program
How would you ensure this new structure involves all key stakeholders, including academics and the Wikipedia community?

There will have to be some form of leadership (board/committee/advisory group) with a clear mission and broad goals that will ensure involvement. As with any organization, its success will depend on strong and dedicated leadership.

What are potential pitfalls of this approach?
  • Lack of strong leadership
