Discussion
editOkay, so I have some major concerns here. Firstly, Twinkle is not a programming language and incapable of automated edits. Secondly, we have a prohibition on welcome bots. Thirdly, UAA already has bots, you should look to suggest improvements to them (given your recent contributions) rather than set up your own. Fourthly, "etc" is a word we hate here at BRFA, please clarify. Fiftly, if you do not know what a bot flag is, I suggest that you're WP:not ready to be a bot-operator. - Jarry1250 [ humourous – discuss ] 15:46, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Okay, in case I ever do like 2,000 edits in a day, I'd rather not have that added my contribution count, I'm not going to be a bot operator in the traditional sense, I am merely going to use it for the above reasons ---Scarce |||| You shouldn't have buried me, I'm not dead--- 16:00, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- You're welcome to keep it as a legitimate sockpuppet and use it for manual editing. Can we consider this request withdrawn? - Jarry1250 [ humourous – discuss ] 16:03, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
