Review by Batmanand edit

One small thing: in the top right of the article when it loads, and in the first line of text, there are lots of ????s. This could be because my browser cannot load certain characters, but it might be worth checking.

  • Coverage and factuality: 7.5
Overall, good, with two provisos. Firstly, references and inline citations. The history subarticle is the closest to acceptable in this respect, but none of the article or its subarticles are really properly referenced. Secondly, some of the subarticles need more content (such as economics, demographics and culture). However, overall, not bad at all.
  • Writing style: 8
Some really nice prose in the history section, and the geography subarticle is well-written in general too. No major problems in this respect.
  • Structure: 8
Subarticle system is good, and the summaries are generally fairly good. Lead will need to longer when article is expanded, but is OK for now. Wikilinks are good, and non-repetitive.
  • Aesthetics: 8.5
The article definitely looks nice, and the images add a lot to the sections they are in. Templates look nice too (particularly like the politics template). Some of the subarticles could be improved in this respect, though (eg demographics).
  • Overall: 7 (not an average, I know, but I rate coverage and factuality considerably above aestetics, for example)
Referencing and expansion are the two biggest issues for this article, but the most important sections are the best at the moment. Requires a couple of editors to really take it by the scruff of its neck, but has a lot of the "preliminary" and "donkey's" work already done. Batmanand | Talk 01:12, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
