Waterloo railway station, Sydney

Waterloo railway station is an underground rapid transit station currently under construction in Waterloo. It will form part of the extension of the Metro North West Line and is currently being built as part of the Sydney Metro City & Southwest project. It is scheduled to open in 2024.[1] Consideration was given to building the line via Sydney University, however in December 2015, the State Government confirmed the line would be built via Waterloo.[2][3]
