Ponatinib edit

I don't understand why you removed my copy editing changes to ponatinib. If you have specific concerns about any of the minor changes I made, it would be best to discuss them, rather than just revert them all wholesale. Also, I'd like to caution you about the tone of some of the edits you have been making. Wikipedia has a strict policy on writing from a neutral point of view and some of your edits come across as promotional. If you have a connection to the subjects you are writing about, I would encourage you to have a look at the conflict of interest guidelines. Thanks, -- Ed (Edgar181) 18:49, 2 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re-entering edited content - Zoomedia edit

hi Edgar,

now that I know who you are -- sorry about running over your edits RE:Edgar181, with the edit summary: welcome and comments on ponatinib.

We are updating content for our client and have noticed that the info we entered got edited soon after -- thus the reason why we re-entered it.

Just to be clear, due to the nature of Wikipedia, you should expect any content you add to be edited by others. The content of each article is determined by consensus of Wikipedia's editors, not by what might be acceptable to you or your client. In this case, the changes I made to ponatinib were mostly cosmetic (fixing grammar, standardizing formatting, etc.) If you disagree with changes that I or anyone else makes, please feel free to discuss those changes on the article's talk page (Talk:Ponatinib, for example). Editing content on Wikipedia can be confusing for newcomers, in part because of Wikipedia's rules and guidelines can be difficult to find and learn, so if you need assistance you can let me know by contacting me at User talk:Edgar181. -- Ed (Edgar181) 19:27, 2 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
