- Indeed, but your edit doesn't focus on the Nanda surname but on the Khatri people. The problem is that the Nanda article is meant to be primarily focused on the surname itself, not the Khatri people which the Nanda family is part of. Your edit of the article was primarily about the Khatri people, which although being informative and concise is not focused on the Nanda surname. Instead, your edit would fit much better in the Khatri article, which does focus on the Khatri people, but it cannot go in the Nanda article. An edit of the Nanda article which would be relevant and focused on the surname would perhaps be discussing the etymology of the Nanda surname.
