  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --HistoryofIran (talk) 13:45, 9 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

I understand your viewpoint. However, the family tree is correct. The website source is also owned by a family descendent of Nakhchivanski. What would you suggest to be the right way of proving that it is indeed correct so that we can upload the family tree without desputes? Zerconn (talk) 15:21, 9 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
You have to prove that it is correct, simply saying 'It is correct' or 'It is owned by a descendant of Nakhchivanski' is not convincing, especially not the when the site looks like a Wikipedia mirror and links Wikipedia articles. I advise taking it to WP:RSN. --HistoryofIran (talk) 15:37, 9 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Genealogy

edit

Hi. I originally removed the family tree list (genealogy) from the page that you edited because that sort of information, although it may be true and correct, is not accepted as being suitable for a digital encyclopaedia. Please see this help page for further information about what is and is not allowed as content.

There is not a problem with putting an external link to a web site with the genealogy (but please see this help page for further info).

Thanks. MightyWarrior (talk) 09:23, 10 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
