Participants in the Wikipedia:WikiProject Education in Canada edit

I saw you just added your name to Wikipedia:WikiProject_Education_in_Canada#Participants. Ironically enough, just yesterday I added your name to the participants section of the new project proposal. Can you take a look at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Education_in_Canada/Revised#Participants and update your information? Thanks! --Stephane Charette 04:29, 2 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

In regards to Westdale Secondary School... edit

...my reply is here. --Stephane Charette 22:06, 10 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is this Yang? Anyway, in response to , I was using Video Production as a blanket term to cover both the Media Arts and Communications courses, since both courses ultimately teach video production as their core principal. For brevity's sake. If, however, you'd rather I expand "Video Production" and name both courses, I'd be happy to do so. 22:42, 12 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yo yang, i think a "Westdale Helps" section really should be included. I added the website at the "Links" section at the bottom of the page, but I think u would do a better job writing that the section in. I believe that it would be best if u were to put it in the "Charity Activities" section. Maybe in a few years, the group will expand to that we'll have a separate page for it. -ruolin59 23:39 26 April, 2006

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Westdale Crest.gif edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Westdale Crest.gif. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 08:05, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:HWDSB logo.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading Image:HWDSB logo.JPG. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. Welcome to Wikipedia from the Medicine Wikiproject! edit

Welcome to Wikipedia and Wikiproject Medicine

Welcome to Wikipedia from Wikiproject Medicine (also known as WPMED).

We're a group of editors who strive to improve the quality of medical articles here on Wikipedia. One of our members has noticed that you are interested in editing medical articles; it's great to have a new interested editor on board. In your wiki-voyages, a few things that may be relevant to editing Wikipedia articles are:

  • Thanks for coming aboard! We always appreciate a new editor. Feel free to leave us a message at any time on our talk page. If you are interested in joining the project yourself, there is a participant list where you can sign up. Please leave a message on the WPMED talk page if you have any problems, suggestions, would like review of an article, need suggestions for articles to edit, or would like some collaboration when editing!
  • Sourcing of medical and health-related content on Wikipedia is guided by our medical sourcing guidelines, commonly referred to as MEDRS. These guidelines typically requires recent secondary sources to support information; its application is further explained here. Primary sources (case studies, case reports, research studies) are rarely used, especially if the primary sources are produced by the organisation or individual who is promoting a claim.
  • Wikipedia is a kingdom full of a wide variety of editors with different interests, skills, and knowledge. We all manage to get along through a lot of discussion that happens under the scenes and through the bold, edit, discuss editing cycle. If you encounter any problems, you can discuss it on an article's talk page or post a message on the WPMED talk page.

Feel free to drop a note on my talk page if you have any problems. I wish you all the best on your wiki voyages! CFCF 💌 📧 20:59, 24 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
