Re: 1981 Croatia statistics edit

Here is the product per capita data for major cities (SFRY=100): Sarajevo 133, Titograd 87, Zagreb 188, Skopje 90, Ljubljana 260, Belgrade 141, Priština 70, Novi Sad 172, Banja Luka 97, Split 137. (Absolute figures are listed too; Yugoslav average was something like 88,800 dinars per capita, which is not too useful as an information.)

Ethnic makeup:

  • Zagreb - Croats 82.1%
  • Split - Croats 83.2%
  • Rijeka - Croats 67.4%, Yugoslavs 15.8%
  • Osijek - Croats 57.2%, Serbs 18.0%, Yugoslavs 17.9%
  • Zadar - Croats 79.7%
  • Pula - Croats 62.4%, Yugoslavs 17.0%
  • Slavonski Brod - Croats 80.4%
  • Karlovac - Croats 61.4%, Serbs 23.2%, Yugoslavs 12.0%
  • Sisak - Croats 61.7%, Serbs 18.4%, Yugoslavs 15.1%
  • Varaždin - Croats 93.3%

As I noted, figures that are less than 10% are not listed here.

If you'd like to cite any of the above figures in an article, here's the code which you can copy and paste:

<ref>{{cite book | title=Atlas svijeta: Novi pogled na Zemlju | year=1984 | edition=3rd | publisher=Sveučilišna naklada Liber | location=Zagreb | language=Croatian | editor1-first=Radovan | editor1-last=Radovinović | editor2-first=Ivan | editor2-last=Bertić}}</ref>

It will look like this: Radovinović, Radovan; Bertić, Ivan, eds. (1984). Atlas svijeta: Novi pogled na Zemlju (in Croatian) (3rd ed.). Zagreb: Sveučilišna naklada Liber.

If there's anything else, you know where you can find me... :-) GregorB (talk) 22:57, 22 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'll do them in several batches. I added some interesting data points such as Budva and Kotor. Also an important note: these figures are for entire municipalities (općine), not just urban areas - except for Belgrade, Sarajevo and Zagreb, the only cities where such figures are available. GregorB (talk) 21:41, 26 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Done. I'll point to your talk page from WP Croatia talk - WP Yugoslavia would make sense too, even if geography is not in their scope. GregorB (talk) 11:38, 28 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hello and sorry for a bit belated answer... I don't have the book on hand at the moment - as soon as I get it I'll respond with the stats here. GregorB (talk) 20:25, 31 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Finally, here it is:

Serbia: Priboj 114, Svetozarevo 118, Knjazevac 79, Apatin 118, Kula 136, Temerin 102, Stara Pazova 96, Futog N/A, Negotin 69, Trstenik 160, Aleksinac 64, Sid 108, Vlasotince 42, Velika Plana 54, Backa Topola 157, Prijepolje 65

Once again, sorry for being a bit slow... And while we're at it: do you know by any chance where can I get 1991 census population figures for Croatian islands? 1981 would also do; the tricky part with the data I have is that it is reported for municipalities, and they sometimes subsume more than one island.
