Eartha White and James Weldon Johnson

edit

If you can supply a trustworthy source, as I stated on the Talk page to Nathan Bedford Forrest High School, then please do so. Otherwise, you have no proof of them working on Civil Rights campaigns together. Also, this fact, if it happens to be true, would be something worthwhile to put on an indidivual page for Eartha White, which does not exist. I don't believe it belongs on the Forrest page; philanthropist and humanitarian covers enough as it is. Not to mention: the only connection I can see between them is that they both attended and worked for Stanton High School, which is not notable enough to be mentioned in the article, either. So do your homework, cite a source, and then maybe I'll stop correcting you. Maria 21:15, 7 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Eartha White, again

edit

I heavily edited the Eartha White article because of several reasons. Number one, a majority of the information was lifted directly from sources, which is called plagerism. Are you aware of this term? Do you remember it from the sixth grade? It is, among other things, including illegal, unacceptable on Wikipedia. If you had bothered to read the rules before taking upon yourself to edit and create articles, you would have known this. Furthermore, the article is badly put together; things are unnecessarily repeated, there are red links all over the place, and the things that *were* not lifted directly from their sources are horribly written. Ms. White deserves much better, which is why I edited it. I did not write false information, nor did I step over any boundaries. I will put it back to the way I had it. You are welcome to add more information once you learn the rules and do it in a proper manner. Maria 23:21, 8 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

The article A. Philip Randolph Academies of Technology School, Jacksonville which you wrote has maintenance tags at the top. Please be aware that if the problems aren't dealt with, the page is likely to be deleted.Eli Falk 12:45, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
