DELETED PAGE FOR D.P.T.
Dear Gurch,
I just recieved your deletion notice concerning my article about Distributed Processing Technology, and found it pressing to let you know why DPT was such an important company.
DPT held the title of being the WORLD LEADER in SCSI and RAID Technology, and was the first company to manufacture these products. Stephen Goldman was on the board of scientific developers who initiated the RAID and SCSI technologies, (see related articles) and is extremely well known and respected to this date in the engineering industry. DPT was one of the biggest corporate contributers not only to this field of computer science, but also the technology-related economy in central Florida. It was purchased by Adaptec for $250,000,000 !
I was both suprised and offset to see how hastily you deleted this entry, obviously with little to no knowledge of the subject matter.
I kindly and respectfully ask you to promptly reply to my concerns.
Thank you. --User:Youknowyouknowmyname

Hi. The claims you make above certainly establish the significance of the company. However, the article as it was said none of these things! As I mentioned previously, you are welcome to rewrite your contribution; if you include the information you have listed above, the article will almost certainly be kept.

I recommend that you also cite sources for this information, as we try to keep articles free of original research. Including a few references to articles in the media, press releases, or other reliable sources, concerning details such as the Adaptec takeover, will vastly improve the article – it allows people to verify the article's claims and find further information should they need it.
