Hi Yorukcan, it's Gustavo doing the peer review. You have covered very well the diffusion of gas through membranes, but I was expecting to see more information about the membranes itself, such as: how to produce it, what materials they're made of, costs of production, cost to separate CO2, if it's used nowadays or not, selectivity of the membranes, etc. I looked up in the sandboxes of the other people from your group, but couldn't find anything about it. Also, I think one picture would help explaining the diffusion process across the membrane.Gustavocaride (talk) 04:26, 4 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Good overview of membrane separation theory, but as Gustavo brought up, I think there should be more information about using membranes for CO2/N2 separation in flue gas. Some questions I have:

  1. what membrane materials would be used to do this separation?
  2. what thickness of membrane would be needed?
  3. what feed gas pressure would the membrane separation need to operate at and what energy penalty would this bring?
