My knowledge of Rana Pratap is limited to the fact that he was a bold Rajput ruler who rebuffed Akbar and as such, the subtleties of your argument are a little lost to me. I don't necessarily attribute a negative connotation to the word chief, but then again, it is on the previous caveat. Only if you can cite specific documentary evidence to back your claims (that I can evaluate myself, and placed on a relevant talk page) will I consider re-opening the issue.
