Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Euryalus (talk) 11:39, 10 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Requested username:

Request reason:

I am so sorry. I am new to editing Wikipedia and thought I could use the photo, but am happy for it to be removed so as to stay within Wikipedia policy. Any photo used in future will be sure to be within your policy. The edits being made to this page are merely to update my profile so it's accurate and reflective of the work I do and that anything that warrants a hyperlink is also accurately linked. This isn't being used for financial gain ever, just to ensure accuracy. I also didn't mean for the username chosen to seem unauthentic or for financial gain, I just wanted it to appear anonymous. Please note I've updated that for you now to an unused username, per your 'search' function. I'd be grateful to have the page reinstated as soon as possible. Thank you.

Decline reason:

As you don't seem to have any edits you want to make at this time, there is no need to remove the block, as blocks only prevent editing. You may request unblock when you have an edit you wish to make. 331dot (talk) 09:51, 20 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

I've renamed you. We don't have profiles here, we have articles. The articles here are not merely to summarize what people do in their lives, they summarize what independent reliable sources say about a topic and what makes it notable as Wikipedia uses the word, such as a notable person. Please see the autobiography policy. It is not absolutely forbidden for people to contribute about themselves, but it is highly discouraged, in part because people naturally write favorably about themselves and Wikipedia strives for a neutral point of view. It is usually very, very difficult for people to set aside what they know about themselves and only summarize what others choose to say about them. Accuracy is important(especially for living people, per the biographies of living persons policy) but it must be done in the right way. Please review the policies I have linked to here and tell what will change about how you contribute in the future, as well as if there are any topics unrelated to yourself that you want to edit about. 331dot (talk) 08:34, 11 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

It also appears that your assistant edited the article in 2019 using the account "ExecAssistantJen". Please be aware that anyone editing the article about you who has a personal or professional relationship with you has a conflict of interest. And if they are also doing so as part of their employment directly with you, or as a third-party representative of you (like a PR agency employee), then they must disclose this information as per Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure policy.
While your unblock is awaiting evaluation, please take time to review Wikipedia:FAQ/Article subjects and Wikipedia:Autobiography. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 21:38, 11 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you both for renaming me, and for the updates and the relevant links to the articles, some of which I've read. I will make sure to read the others you have linked for me. I completely understand now the rules around Wikipedia and appreciate you steering me. I'll promise to leave the website alone and allow nonpartial editors to update the page. I would be grateful, however, if you'd consider removing the block 1) should I ever need to remove any obviously mistaken facts about myself, which I would do so in keeping with the rules outlined in the autobiography policy and 2) should I ever wish to update another person's page. I sincerely appreciate your time and consideration. 157.231.225.50 (talk) 14:44, 12 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
There are a select few situations where it would be acceptable for you to remove problematic content in the article about yourself, as described in WP:AUTOPROB. However, they would have to be very clear-cut, such as blatant vandalism or libellous content. Otherwise, for any change by you that could be perceived as controversial, then it is better for you to make an edit request on the article's talk page.
Also, please make sure you log in to your account before making edits. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 04:02, 16 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
