Hello, Wumbo here!

Glad to be here!

Very glad!

I'd like to start improving Wikipedia immediately!

Thanks!

3RR

edit

3RR only counts when it's not obvious vandalism. Your edis have been identified as WP:OWN vandalism. Go ahead and file your report, but don't expect consideration of your edits to be any different simply because you went and got an account. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 05:39, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I fixed my comment, so read it again. Also, let me make something clear. You have been told about your ridiculous attitude in regards to that article. Your edits have been identified as WP:OWN vandalaism and generally poorly written. They have been undone as such. You will not get to keep your version of the page simply because you want your work preserved. I will not accept your offer, simply because it is made in bad faith. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 05:46, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
What are you talking about? Rediculous? Look, buddy, I don't know where you get your delusions (sorry, just to make my point), but, from now on, you should no longer attack me. It is disgraceful behavior, especially coming from you. Cut it out or you will be blocked. There are NO exceptions. Not even YOU. Quit it. Wumbo 05:53, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Those weren't attacks. They were independently confirmed observations of your behavior. This is how you act. You revert constantly to your own version (ignoring any edits by others), which is not written in an encyclopedic style I might add. You've used actual personal attacks in edit summaries. I could go on. Point is, you need to realize that by submitting your work here it's going to be editted. If you don't want that to happen, go somewhere else. Also, don't edit redirect pages. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 06:05, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Just one last thing. You seem knowledgable on the Superman Lives subject. Try editing the article in the current style used, which is the Wikipedia standard. Add info, remove falsehoods, correct mistakes: all that jazz. Just keep the proper past tense for a non-current event. You could be a good contributor if you just did that. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 06:17, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Superman

edit

Please don't make huge changes that were no agreed upon. I have read the original page and it is full of POV, and uncited material. Even if you look past the uncited material it needed a vast rewrite to make it more NPOV. I'm sorry, but what you keep changing it to is not NPOV. Also, there should be no infobox. This is not a film page, this is a page about all the canceled films up to Superman Returns. There can be no infobox because there is no concrete info. You would be listing numerous directors, writers, and actors that joined and left at different times. That is not how an infobox works. As it stands now, the page is looking much better in the way of NPOV, but it needs cites. Please stop changing it. Bignole 21:57, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

All right, but thank you for being so friendly! Wumbo 22:07, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Also stop doing copy/paste moves. It's not how pages are moved. You've now made it impossible for regular editors to fix my typo. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 22:29, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Ah, yes; that was yours! Oh, how typical of you! Wumbo 22:33, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Don't be a dick. You see that move button up top? That's how you move pages. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 22:33, 14 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Please stop maliciously reverting the page back to the POV version. When you know something is wrong, even if you disagree with it, and you keep changing it back it is considered vandalism. Bignole 03:38, 16 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
The POV hasn't changed. That revert is the corrected version, past tense and all. Don't, Boss... Wumbo 03:45, 16 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you deliberately introduce incorrect information into a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. abakharev 21:52, 18 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Moving pages

edit

Hello there. Regarding The Solomon Key; there is a better way to move pages then to cut the contents of the old page and then paste them at the new location. Just click the "move" link that is located at the top of every page. After the move a redirect will automatically be created at the old location. This is the prefered method because with cut-and-paste moves the edit history of the page gets lost at the old location where nobody will think to look. But by using the move button then edit history moves with the page. Happy editing. Qutezuce 06:22, 17 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I'm a rather new user; the "move" key doesn't work for me. Thanks for the positive greeting, though. Wumbo 06:11, 23 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Hello, Wumbo. Just because the "Move" key doesn't work (which it should, please ask me on my User talk page if you want help on that), is no excuse to continue doing a method that is frowned upon. Please, take no offense :). GofG ||| Contribs 06:06, 24 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please

edit

Please do not make moves without consensus on controversial articles, such as the Gulf War and Iraq War articles. If you continue to do things such as that, you will be blocked. I realize that you are new, but it's just not a good idea. --Woohookitty(meow) 07:48, 24 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Moving articles

edit

Please don't move articles by cutting and pasting text from one article to another; this destroys the page history, which is important for copyright reasons. To move a page, use the "Move" link at the top of articles. Thanks. —tregoweth (talk) 22:23, 25 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

You've been warned at least three times about moving articles by copying and pasting. Knock it off already. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 22:09, 31 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sulla

edit

Wumbo, great to have you contributing to the Sulla article, but please stick to the facts. Sulla was not of a Royal House (neither was Julius Caesar for that matter), Cornelius is his "Gens", ergo, he did not reign, he had a dictatorship. His father was also Lucius Cornelius Sulla, his grandfather was Publius Cornelius Sulla. - —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Sulla16 (talkcontribs) .

Wumbo, you are starting to be annoying, please use Wikipedia responsibly or you will be blocked. talk

Please stop modifying multiple conversations[1]. It is highly disruptive, especially when your edits consist of changing headings. EVula 23:44, 1 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Portrait

edit

But surely, if it's not a portrait of Abdul Alhazred, it shouldn't be used as an illustration for an article about Abdul Alhazred identifying it as a portrait of Abdul Alhazred? Nareek 04:25, 2 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you deliberately introduce incorrect information into a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The text on Image:ImamAli.jpg clearly states that this is Imam Ali one of the most important figures for Shea. Why do we claim he is Abdul Alhazred? Is it a simple vandalism or what? abakharev 04:49, 2 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and repeated and blatant violation of WP:NPOV are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. Refer to your edits on Abdul Alhazred, as a sockpuppet User:Mobwui abakharev 21:32, 2 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Template:Popes

edit

I don't care that according to some prophecy "Peter the Roman" is to become the next pope. The template only serves for people who have actually held the office, not for predictions (or speculations) about the future. - Mike Rosoft 16:24, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. Please do not add future speculation to wikipedia. In fact, the article you are referencing says that "Peter the Roman" may come after many intervening popes, and may not even be a pope. Gimmetrow 01:42, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

So edits like this could be considered vandalism according to Wikipedia is not a crystal ball policy.abakharev 01:45, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

The Pink Panther (2006 film)

edit

Please stop adding incorrect information to Wikipedia. The name of the 2006 Pink Panther movie is neither "Mark of the Pink Panther", nor "Mask of the Pink Panther". Have a look at the film's IMDB page. Thank you. - Mike Rosoft 09:43, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Template:Mel Brooks Films

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia; it is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 22:43, 25 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Blocked

edit

You have been blocked for one week for deliberately adding misinformation to multiple articles after previous warnings. You may return after your block has expired, but if you resume your old patterns, you will likely be banned from project. ×Meegs 00:21, 26 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Great Jedi Purge

edit

An editor has nominated Great Jedi Purge, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Great Jedi Purge (2nd nomination) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 21:29, 11 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Great Jedi Purge and Order 66

Best Wumbo, the Great Jedi Purge is not self Order 66, Order 66 was but a part of the Great Jedi Purge. Tim Auke Kools (talk) 19:28, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
