Please use your sandbox to improve articles past the point where they are micro-stubs. At minimum, add sources for your articles so they are not at risk of immediate deletion. WLU 20:03, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wish Upon A Time - The Legendary Scimitar

edit

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Wish Upon A Time - The Legendary Scimitar, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. 172.149.55.172 21:36, 5 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nabila Jamshed has also been proded for essentially the same reasons. WLU 02:06, 6 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Warnings

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wish Upon A Time - The Legendary Scimitar, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

Accounts used solely for blatant self-promotion may be blocked without further warning.

For more details, please read the Conflict of Interest guideline. Thank you.

Before making further edits to any of the talk pages, please read WP:TALK, and if contesting deletions, read our deletion policy and make arguments from there. WLU 11:51, 6 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Farhat Jamshed

edit

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Farhat Jamshed, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. Read the AFD and PROD policies. If you don't familiarize yourself with the policies you can't prevent them from being deleted, and I am not going to do the work for you. The actions you took to prevent the Farhat Jamshed page from being deleted are not sufficient. Read the policy or the page will be deleted. WLU 11:15, 9 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of List of Indian writers

edit

I have nominated List of Indian writers, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Indian writers. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Jaysweet (talk) 19:32, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
